2018 Mustang bolt pattern

The 2018 Mustang bolt pattern is 5x5, meaning there are five bolts or lugs on each wheel arranged in a five-inch diameter circle. Every bolt pattern, no matter what car you have, is written as:
# of bolts x diameter of the circle they form
The bolt pattern isn’t the only spec you need to know to upgrade your wheels. You’ll also need to know your Mustang’sstud size, wheel offset, center bore measurement and wheel tightening torque. Luckily, we’ve got those measurements listed here:
  • Factory wheel size: 16” to 18” or 20”
  • Stud size: 1/2” x 20 (1/2 inch stud with 20 threads per inch)
  • Offset: -12 to 38 mm
  • Center bore: 71.5 mm
  • Wheel tightening torque: 130 Nm
Now you really do have all the specs you need to swap out those Mustang wheels.

How to measure your 2018 Mustang bolt pattern

While we’ve already provided you with your 2018 Mustang bolt pattern, it’s important to know how to find it yourself just in case you forget or ever need to find someone else–don’t worry, it’s easier than you think! All you need is a measuring tape or ruler to get started.
To get the first number in your bolt pattern, count the number of bolts on your wheel, and then you’ll measure the diameter of the circle the bolts form for the second spec. Pick a lug and measure from the outer edge of the lug hole to the center of the opposite lug.
Just pair the number of bolts with the diameter measurement and you’ll have found your Mustang’s bolt pattern.
