.If you need to reset your Engine Oil Life reminder, you just follow a few simple steps. You’ll use the steering wheel buttons to help you navigate the menu for your instrument cluster display:
- Push the SUV’s “start” button so you turn on the power to the electronics but don’t start the engine
- Use the arrow buttons on your steering wheel to scroll to the Vehicle Settings menu, then press the Reset button to open the menu
- Scroll until you get to Maintenance Info and open it
- Go to the Oil Life option, then press and hold the Reset button until you see the “Maintenance Reset” option
- Select the Reset option, and the maintenance reminder will disappear
Your Oil Life should reset to 100% once you finish the process. Your vehicle will start the new countdown from there. Once the time for your next oil change comes back around, the warning light will display again.
How often does a 2016 Honda Pilot need an oil change?
