Let’s get back to Tatum’s ride in Dog. In 1984, the Ford Bronco was well into its third generation, with the company boasting its weight-savings, fuel efficiency and abundance of interior options compared with previous generations.
Tatum’s Bronco appears to be an XLT model sporting a Deluxe Tu-Tone paint scheme in medium blue metallic and polar white, capped with white fiberglass roof. Ford marketed this model year as a “great vehicle for off-road hunting and fishing excursions, or vacationing with your trailer in tow.”
The company also offered a snow plow package for this model year with a heavy duty front axle and springs, front stabilizer bar and heavy duty rear shocks.
