If you're new to Chargers, the Scat Pack trim is a good entry point. What's included on this trim, and what makes it so different from the rest?
Everything you can get for the Dodge Charger Scat Pack
Dodge
says that the 2022 Charger Scat Pack comes standard with a 485-horsepower V8 paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. Unlike certain other trims, it's only available in an RWD configuration. It also comes with a few extra performance features. Brembo brakes, launch control, a racing-grade suspension, and an upgraded differential are all standard. Some luxurious interior extras include heating for the steering wheel and front seats, along with seat memory settings.
Drivers can also customize their Scat Packs with a few different appearance packages. The Blacktop one includes a black spoiler, black Charger badging, and black wheel accents. You can make the interior stand out with Daytona emblems, Mopar badging, or carbon-colored suede materials.
If you need a little extra space, the Scat Pack also has a Widebody package. It comes with an exclusive widebody suspension, all-speed traction control, and unique fender flares. According to

, the Widebody variant is also usually a tick faster than the standard Scat Pack.How much does the Dodge Charger Scat Pack cost?
Without any extra packages, the 2022 Dodge Charger Scat Pack retails for $44,070. Most appearance packages usually don't cost more than a few hundred dollars.
You can also get some individual components added to your vehicle for a cheaper rate. Opting for the Widebody package brings the Scat Pack's asking price to $49,765.
The Scat Pack compared to other trims
While the Scat Pack is exceptionally powerful by segment standards, the Hellcat trims have always been more exciting. For 2022, Dodge has narrowed its selection down to just the SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody. It comes standard with the supercharged Hellcat V8 that produces 797 horsepower.
It's also exclusively an RWD car, and most performance options carry over from the Scat Pack. Before any optional packages, a new Hellcat Redeye costs $83,145.
If you really want your Charger to stand out, the Jailbreak model
can meet your needs
. You can customize the body, seats, wheel rims, badges, and more with 14 color options. It also features the most powerful version of the Hellcat V8, rated at 807 horsepower. A 2022 Dodge Charger Jailbreak will cost at least $84,140.
The Charger also has some cheaper models for frugal shoppers. The Dodge Charger R/T retails for just below $40,000 and comes with 370 horsepower on tap.
The Dodge Charger GT is also a nice option with 300 horsepower and a $33,625 asking price. Still, if you want the best performance and access to more packages, we think the Scat Pack is a better value.
