German auto tuner Manhart
offers a bold black and gold look for the newest Range Rover, a manufacturer it rarely tunes vehicles, breaking new ground. One of the elite auto tuners of Europe, Manhart typically modifies
Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, but it makes occasional forays into other brands. In this article, Jerry
considers Manhart's tuning of the Land Rover
Range Rover. The tuner dubbed its take on the 2022 Range Rover the Vogue RV 650. The custom appearance package gives it a similar look to the one it created for BMW. 2022 Range Rover Dynamic Black Edition
Manhart started with the vehicle's luxury trim, the Svautobiography Dynamic Black Edition, which costs $186,700.
This Land Rover
model features a 5.0-liter V8 gas engine capable of generating 557 horsepower partnered with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 5.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 140 mph. You get the fuel efficiency you probably expect from a luxury SUV. The Range Rover earns 14 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway.
Although it can tow some weight, that will further drop the gas mileage. If you need to haul something, the SUV can handle an unbraked trailer weight of 1,653 pounds with a maximum towing weight of 7,716 pounds.
The Range Rover Vogue RV 650 does offer plenty of cargo space. Fill up the 34.5 cubic feet of space behind the second seat row or use the second seat row area, too, and increase the storage to above 70 cubic feet.
Manhart makes a statement with Range Rover
The base color Manhart uses in its tuning comes from the manufacturer. It adds sleek wide gold stripes to the hood, front fascia, radiator grille, rear diffuser, and side doors. Its exterior upgrades also include forged multi-spoke alloy wheels.
In northern U.S. slang, the European tuner made a "Gucci" Range Rover
, similar to the "Gucci" Jaguars seen in Detroit, Michigan, and Chicago, Illinois during the 1980s, and "Gucci" Cadillacs popular further northeast during the same time period. All this Range Rover lacks is a gold hood ornament, but Land Rover doesn't use those, so use your imagination.
Manhart took the exterior "Gucci" gold look from the 20th century inside the Range Rover, too.
Each leather seat – front bucket seats and rear bench seat – gets its own gold stripe down the center and gold around the headrest area. Gold accents line the dashboard, fill in the gearbox, and pipe the doors.
Truly limited availability for this Manhart vehicle
If you reside in the Middle East or know someone there who would take delivery for you, then deal with the shipping, you can own a Manhart Range Rover Vogue RV 650. Manhart hasn't revealed the price of this modified vehicle though.
The company sells both vehicles it has tuned and decorated, and the accessories, such as decals to do it yourself. The gold stripes Manhart
added to the Range Rover bear a close resemblance to the decals treatment the company made for the latest BMW line. Get Jerry to find cheap car insurance
