Infiniti
hatchbacks, sedans, convertibles, SUVs, and especially the speedy roadsters. While the brand’s offerings are often hit or miss, that doesn’t mean they lack fast cars dripping in luxury.

Infiniti SUVs and sedans that are faster than you think

Infiniti cars and SUVs feature an advanced VC-turbo engine. “These powerful machines were developed over 20 years of engineering to create one of the most efficient and powerful internal combustion engines on the market,” according to
Infiniti of Coral Gables
With a 2.0-liter gas engine and torque of the diesel powertrain, Infinitis are fuel efficient and reliable.
In 2012, the 3.5-liter Infiniti QX60 SUV “had an upgraded suspension along with speed-sensitive steering to give you a smooth ride,” according to Infiniti of Coral Gables. It could also ramp up to 60 mph in 8.3 seconds.
When the engine was switched out, buyers received a 3.5-liter direct-injected V6 that pumped out 295 hp. And now, 0 to 60 mph is possible in only 7.6 seconds.
The touchstone Infiniti QX50 model features a 3.7-liter port-injected V6 engine with 268 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can expect to hit 60 mph in just 6.4 seconds. And the top-performing SUV boasts a top speed of 144 mph.
The Infiniti QX55 came in with a bang in 2021. The sleek crossover coupe features a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 268 hp. The QX55 provides smartphone integration with Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay, and offers drivers lots of safety features. In 6.4 seconds, you’ll be cruising at 60 mph.
The powerful Infiniti QX80 can reach a top speed of 145 mph and needs only 6.8 seconds to jump to 60 mph. The interior features pure leather and the sculpted exterior is unique to say the least. The popular model offers drivers plenty of standard and optional features to ensure the most customized vehicle possible.
With a powerful V8 engine, the Infiniti Q70 cranks out 420 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. You may recognize the Q70 as previously named the M56. When the Q70 became official in 2014, upgrades allowed it to jump to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds.

Fastest Infiniti car, hands down

In just 4.9 seconds, the Infiniti Q50S Hybrid can hit 60 mph. The hybrid’s interior is comfy and offers passengers plenty of space. And buyers will also enjoy tons of savings with an excellent fuel economy of 36 mpg on the highway.
The fastest Infiniti car is the Q50 Red Sport 400, which can ramp up to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. With a 3.0-liter V-6 twin-turbocharged engine.
According to Infiniti of Coral Gables, the low-key interior “is adorned with luxurious finishes, including semi-aniline leather-appointment seating and every kind of tech feature, smartphone integration, and driver assistance feature you can imagine.”
While it does pump out 400 hp, drivers may be disappointed in Sport 400’s average handling and lack of steering feedback. Basically, there’s nothing wrong with this speedy Infiniti, there are just better
luxury sedans
out there for the price.
The Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 for a sportier drive is where it's at. The high-performance variant sports a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine with 400 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. It also offers athletic handling in both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive. In just 4.5 seconds, the Red Sport can accelerate to 60 mph.

OK, this Infiniti is insane

We found an Infiniti Q60 Red Sport that makes the GT-R weak in the knees. According to
Top Speed
, “the car currently makes 800 horsepower to the wheels. AMS Performance has partnered with Infiniti in order to discover the limits of the VR30DDTT engine. Some refer to the Infiniti Q60 RedSport as the ‘Baby GT-R’ and by the looks of it, rightfully so.”
Top Speed also notes that the AMS Infiniti Q60 features a fully-built engine, bigger fuel pumps, bigger injectors, turbo-kit, and full bolt-ons (heat exchanger, intercooler, intakes, etc.). The seven-speed automatic gives a GT-R vibe from the engine even while down on displacement.
The Baby GT-R can hit 60 mph in a mere 2.4 seconds.
