Thanksgiving is the deadliest driving holiday in the U.S., topping both Labor Day and the Fourth of July for fatal crashes. One thing that Thanksgiving has in common with those summer holidays: Young people are the most frequent casualties, and a majority of fatal crashes involve either alcohol consumption or excessive speed or both.
